Wedding Teaser Editing

A teaser is the fastest-working film you deliver. It goes out while the couple are still in the glow of the weekend, it gets shared before anyone has seen a frame of the highlight, and it is the piece most likely to reach a couple who has not booked a videographer yet.

Ours is $250, sixty to ninety seconds, with sound and colour included.

What You Get

A film of sixty to ninety seconds, built to be watched on a phone with the sound on.

A teaser is not a shortened highlight. It has a different job: it withholds rather than summarises. The point is to make somebody want the full film, which means the best few seconds of the day and the discipline to leave everything else out.

Included as standard:

• Sound design built for a small speaker. Most teasers are watched on a phone. Mixing for that is not the same as mixing for a laptop.
• Colour grading to your brand look, matched across every angle used.
• Multi-camera sync where the moment needs more than one angle.

The Vertical Version

We also cut teasers vertically for Reels and Stories. That is a teaser reel, and it is $250, the same as this one.

The honest reason it is not simply an export: a vertical cut is rarely a crop. A wide two-shot that works beautifully at 16:9 often has both people leaving frame at 9:16, so shots have to be replaced rather than reframed. It is a second edit, and it is priced as one.

If you want both from the same wedding, say so up front and we will quote them together. That is cheaper than having a delivered 16:9 teaser converted afterwards.

What It Costs

$250 per teaser. Sound design and colour grading included. A vertical teaser reel is $250 as well, so order both together and we will quote them as a pair.

What We Need From You

Footage goes on Google Drive, Dropbox, or whichever cloud storage you already use. There is no size limit.

You fill in the project intake form once per wedding. It covers the theme and direction, the moments that have to be in the film, names and pronunciations, music direction, and anything you would rather we did not use. It is the brief the film gets built to, and it is the single biggest factor in how few revision rounds a project needs.

Turnaround

Standard turnaround is 7 to 8 working days.

The more useful answer is that we work to your date. Tell us when you have to deliver to your couple and we will confirm whether we can hit it before you commit to anything. If something has to jump the queue, expedited delivery in 48 to 72 hours is available at +50% of the project price.

Revisions

Four rounds are included: one internal alignment round before the film reaches you, and three with you. Notes go on the Frame.io link that carries the files, which timestamps each comment to the exact frame automatically.

Small changes are included generously. Re-edits that rebuild the film, such as a new music concept, a different narrative order or a substantially different length, are scoped separately. The full terms are on our revision policy page.
