How It Works Day to Day
Your editor works from your intake forms and your reference films, the same as any other project, but continuously rather than job by job. After a few weddings the briefs get shorter because they already know your pacing, your music choices, and how long you like to hold a shot before cutting.
Progress is visible. We run remote team monitoring software, so you can see time on your projects rather than taking our word for it. Most clients look at it for the first fortnight and then stop, which is rather the point. It is there so trust does not have to be assumed.
Work still goes through Frame.io for review, and revisions are handled in the same way as any other project.
When This Is Not the Right Answer
Worth saying plainly: if you shoot fifteen or twenty weddings a year, per-film pricing is almost certainly cheaper. A dedicated editor makes sense when the volume is steady and substantial enough to keep somebody busy. Otherwise you are paying for hours you are not using.
