Adriana and Yan

The highlight film is the one your couple actually shares, and the one the next couple watches before they enquire. It carries more of your reputation than anything else you deliver.

It is also the longest job in your edit list. Ours is $350, delivered in 7 to 8 working days, with everything included.

What You Get

A finished film of three to seven minutes, cut from the whole day.

Included as standard, not as add-ons:

  • A complete custom sound design. Not a music track laid under a montage, but vows and speeches layered against the score, ambience where the day is quiet, levels ridden so speech stays clear under music.
  • Multi-node colour grading built to your brand look. If you have a reference or a house style, we match it. If you do not, we build one and show you before it goes across the film.
  • Multi-camera sync. Two or three angles is what we usually receive, and lining them up is part of the job rather than something extra.

How the Film Gets Built

We work from the intake form first, not the footage. The theme, the direction and the moments that matter decide the structure before anything is cut.

The spine of a highlight is almost always the vows and the speeches. Those are the moments with real words in them, and the coverage works around them rather than competing with them. Drone, details and dancing serve the story; they do not become it.

Colour and sound are handled alongside the cut rather than bolted on at the end. That is what one program across the whole team makes possible.

What It Costs

$350 per highlight film. Colour grading and sound design are included.

If you also need a teaser and a full-length film from the same wedding, the three together are $650 as a wedding package rather than $850 separately. See the full package.

Typical Project

Most weddings arrive as 300 to 500 GB across two or three cameras. That is well within normal for us. Send everything. Deciding what is unusable is our job, and the shot you nearly deleted is often the one the film turns on.

What We Need From You

Footage goes on Google Drive, Dropbox, or whichever cloud storage you already use. There is no size limit.

You fill in the project intake form once per wedding. It covers the theme and direction, the moments that have to be in the film, names and pronunciations, music direction, and anything you would rather we did not use. It is the brief the film gets built to, and it is the single biggest factor in how few revision rounds a project needs.

Turnaround

Standard turnaround is 7 to 8 working days.

The more useful answer is that we work to your date. Tell us when you have to deliver to your couple and we will confirm whether we can hit it before you commit to anything. If something has to jump the queue, expedited delivery in 48 to 72 hours is available at +50% of the project price.

Revisions

Four rounds are included: one internal alignment round before the film reaches you, and three with you. Notes go on the Frame.io link that carries the files, which timestamps each comment to the exact frame automatically.

Small changes are included generously. Re-edits that rebuild the film, such as a new music concept, a different narrative order or a substantially different length, are scoped separately. The full terms are on our revision policy page.

Working Under Your Brand

No watermark, no credit, and no contact with your couple. We sign NDAs and white-label agreements on request.

If you have not worked with us before we will do a sample edit after a short call. First-time clients can split payment 50/50 rather than paying up front, and there is a money-back guarantee on a first project.

Common questions

How long is a wedding highlight film?

Three to seven minutes is what we deliver most often. If your couple or your house style calls for something different, say so on the intake form and we will build to that instead.

How much does wedding highlight editing cost?

$350 per film, with custom sound design and multi-node colour grading included. A teaser, highlight and full-length film from the same wedding are $650 together as a package.

Is colour grading included or extra?

Included. Every highlight is graded to your brand look as part of the price. Colour grading is also sold on its own for videographers who cut in-house, but you do not pay twice.

How much footage can I send?

As much as you shot. Three to five hundred gigabytes is typical. There is no size limit and no per-gigabyte charge.

Can you match my existing style across weddings?

That is the main reason to use a small in-house team. The same editors stay on your account, so the second film starts from what we learned on the first. Send a reference film and we will match it.

How do I send you the footage?

Google Drive, Dropbox or whichever cloud storage you already use. There is no size limit. Three to five hundred gigabytes per wedding is normal for us.

How long does it take?

Standard turnaround is 7 to 8 working days. If you have a date you have to hit, tell us before you commit and we will confirm. Expedited delivery in 48 to 72 hours is available at +50%.

What editing software do you use?

DaVinci Resolve, exclusively, across the whole team. One program means a project can move between editors without conforming, and the colour work happens in the tool built for it.

Will my couple know the edit was outsourced?

Only if you tell them. No watermark, no credit, and no contact with your clients. We sign NDAs and white-label agreements on request.

Who chooses and licenses the music?

If you have chosen a track, send it and we cut to it, and that licence stays yours. If you need us to supply licensed music we can, within the platforms we have access to. Ask early: changing the music concept after the first draft means retiming every cut.

Do I get the project file as well as the video?

If you want it. You get the Resolve project with its assets, so changes can be made on your own machine. Some plugins we use are paid, so you would need your own licences for those. For most people the rendered master is all they ever use.
