Standalone colour grading and sound design are priced separately because they are only ordered when you have cut the film yourself. Both are already included in every film edit above.

Bought separately, a teaser, highlight and full length film come to $850. As a package they are $750, because the footage is downloaded, organised, synced and graded once rather than three times. What is in the package.

Common Questions About Pricing

How much does wedding video editing cost?

Individual films run from $70 for a vertical reel to $350 for a highlight film. The complete package of teaser, highlight and full length film is $750. Colour grading and sound design are included in every film edit, so the price you see is the price of a finished film, not a base rate.

Is colour grading and sound design included, or extra?

Included in every film edit. They are only charged separately when you want them on your own edit, as a standalone service, which starts at $250.

Why is the package cheaper than buying the films separately?

Teaser, highlight and full length film bought separately come to $850. As a package they are $750. The footage is downloaded, organised, synced and graded once instead of three times, and that saving is passed on.

Do you charge more during peak season?

No. The standard rate and the standard 7 to 8 working day turnaround hold through peak season. Expedited delivery in 48 to 72 hours is available at an additional 50%, and that is the only surcharge we apply.

How does volume pricing work?

When several films come from one wedding, the footage only has to be handled once, so multiple videos from a single wedding are priced together rather than as separate projects. Tell us what you need from the day and we will quote the set.

How much does a dedicated editor cost?

A dedicated editor is quoted individually because it is a full-time arrangement rather than a per-film price. It covers eight hours a day, five days a week on US hours, and includes the workstation, 2TB of cloud storage, software licences and in-house quality control.

When do I pay?

Payment terms are set out in our terms of service. Get in touch before your first project and we will confirm the arrangement in writing.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. Four rounds of revisions, colour grading, sound design and delivery are all included in the film prices listed here. The only additions are expedited delivery at +50% and any work that falls outside the agreed scope, which is defined in our revision policy.
