About S&D Media

What we do

S&D Media is a wedding video post-production company. We edit for wedding
videographers and studios — we do not shoot weddings, and we do not sell to
couples.

That distinction matters. It means we are never competing with the people who
hire us. Your clients remain entirely yours.

How we work

We are nine full-time, in-house editors. Not a marketplace and not a rotating
pool of contractors. The same people, employed, who get to know a returning
client's style well enough that the briefs get shorter over time.

Over the past three years we have handled more than 500 TB of wedding footage
for videographers across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

What we believe about turnaround

Most outsourced editing runs on a three-to-four week standard and charges extra
for anything quicker. We think that is backwards. Speed is usually the reason a
videographer outsources in the first place, so it should not be the upsell.

Our standard is 7 to 8 working days, with highlight films in 24 to 48 hours
during peak season. It is the thing we are most often kept for.
