Kylee & Mitch's Lake of the Ozarks Wedding Hightlight

Kylee & Mitch wanted their vows to open the film over a soft indie-folk instrumental, building into a more emotional, cinematic sound through the ceremony and couple shots. They asked for parts of their speeches layered into the middle of the edit, especially the meaningful or funny lines, then a clear energy shift into upbeat music for the reception. Their overall direction was natural, emotional, and outdoorsy, true to their lakeside setting, without leaning into anything overly dramatic.

A 51-second teaser doesn't give you much to work with. The real challenge was figuring out which few seconds of Kylee & Mitch's vows and speeches would actually hit, and cutting everything else, without it feeling rushed or losing the warmth of the day in the process.

We kept it simple on purpose. Open on their real vows, let a couple of the best speech moments carry the emotional weight, then shift gears into the reception energy for a warm, upbeat close. Nothing fancy, just enough to make someone feel like they were actually there, in under a minute.
